Early-Bird Registration is Now Open!
Join us March 8-9, 2019 at the Hotel Madison in Harrisonburg, VA.
The theme of the conference is the exploration and application of contemplative practices in higher education to develop the academic community and support healthier, more engaged students. We believe that we all can benefit from and contribute to this conversation about the future of academia without regard for direct involvement in post-secondary education. As such the conference is directed to:
- All members of the higher education community: faculty, staff, students, administrators, and collaborators.
- Individuals who wish to present on the use of contemplative practices in classrooms or extra-curricular context, including presentations focused on outcomes, pedagogy and administrative issues.
- Individuals who wish to lead workshops or roundtable discussions to share or explore the use of contemplative practices in a higher education setting.
- All individuals who are seeking a community where they can discuss, share or gain insight into the use of contemplative practices in higher educational settings.
