Victoria “Tori” Bertram (Ph.D., The University of Tennessee, Knoxville) is an assistant professor in the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University. She earned her B.A. and M.S. from Murray State University and her Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee. Her research interests include workplace relationships, memorable messages, and fluid organizations like family farms and K-pop fandoms. She has published articles in Communication Research, Communication Studies, Western Journal of Communication, and Korean Journal of Communication. She teaches courses in the organizational communication concentration, the introductory research methods course, and various study abroad courses. She is also one of the directors of the CLIMB Center, SCOM’s new student research center. When she isn’t listening to K-pop or spending time with her pets, she can be found skating with the Rocktown Rollers.
