Eric Fife is a professor in the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University, where he has been a faculty member since 2001.  He received his BA at JMU, his MA at the University of Maryland, and his Ph.D. at Purdue University.  His research interests include family and interpersonal communication, and he has taught a wide range of classes including research methods, interpersonal communication, family communication, nonverbal communication, presentational speaking and the general education course.
