Allison Harris joined UNCW as Assistant Professor of English in Fall 2020. Her teaching focuses on antiracism and social equality, multiethnic and hemispheric American literature, and archival and literary studies. Her research spotlights cross-racial solidarity in Appalachia and the U.S. South. She has published work in Anthurium: A Caribbean Studies Journal and ASAP/Journal.
