Study/Work Abroad

International business majors are required to study or work outside of the U.S. for at least six weeks, unless express permission is granted by the program director for another option.

You may not choose a country where English is the primary language. Instead, you should choose a country where the primary language is the one you selected to meet the IB language requirement.

Approval of the study or work abroad requirement must be obtained from the program director if you do not choose a JMU program.
