For over 30 years the economics seminar series at James Madison University's College of Business has provided students the opportunity to see and interact with cutting-edge economists who represent a wide variety of views and perspectives speaking on a wide variety of topics. These speakers come from academia, think tanks, government and industry, and have included several Nobel Prize winners in economics over the years, including George Akerlof, Eric Maskin, Thomas Schelling, Vernon Smith and Oliver Williamson.
