About

Hi! I am Joe Rudmin, the Electronics Technician for the School of Integrated Science. My highest priority is providing technical support for instructional labs with a lot of electronic instrumentation, such as ISAT300 and ISAT301. I also order equipment and complete paperwork for those orders, and do some electronic diagnostic, repair, design, and assembly as time permits, primarily for students and faculty in the School of Integrated Science, but also for others at JMU as time permits.

As time permits, I also advise the Parker Sochacki math team primarily regarding physics and statistics in fulfillment of their contract work, since I have a Master of Science degree from the University of Virginia in experimental atomic physics. At UVa I helped with the Yukich experiment which perhaps has the clearest evidence of quantum parallel universes.

As a hobby, I enjoy the math of general relativity, quantum relativity, and the emergent structure of space and time, and the properties of the simplest fermions. For example, I have shown how to resolve the inconsistency between general relativity and quantum mechanics by accounting for the energy density of gravitational fields; and I can simply explain how dark energy is simply gravity.

If you need technical help or prayer, email me or stop by my office in King Hall, Room 315.
