The JMU Career and Internship Fair is the perfect occasion for employers who are recruiting for various jobs or internships to connect with JMU talent across all class years and all majors.
Being on-campus, these two days of JMU Career and Internship Fair attract hundreds of JMU students who are seeking for career opportunities and highly value in-person conversations and connections.
Fall 2026 JMU Career and Internship Fair will take place on Tuesday 9/29 and Wednesday 9/30, from 12pm to 4pm on each day, in Atlantic Union Bank Center.
Registration for both days of the JMU Career and Internship Fairwill open on May 1, 2026 in Handshake. Please contact the Employer Service Team at handshake@jmu.edu if you have any questions.
Registration
Deadlines for Fall 2026 JMU Career and Internship Fair
- Registration Opens: May 1, 2026
- Registration Closes: Day 1: Sept. 8, 2026 Day 2: Sept. 9, 2026 or when all slots fill (whichever occurs first)
- Cancellation Deadline for 100% refund: Day 1 Sept. 8, 2026 Day 2: Sept. 9, 2026
- Cancellation Deadline for 50% refund: Day 1 Sept. 15, 2026 Day 2 Sept. 16, 2026
- No refund will be issued for cancellations received after Sept. 15, 2026 or Sept. 16, 2026
- Payment is due at the time your registration is approved. Your registration is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Fees
Our registration fees have changed this year due to increased costs for coordinating the event, including a new venue and catering increases.
- $600: Corporate/For-Profit Organizations
- $300: Government Agencies
- $200: Non-Profit Organizations or 501(c)(3) Charitable Non-Profit Organizations
Proceeds from the career fair are used in part to fund the Unpaid Internship Scholarship Program.

- Our office will review your registration request.
- While third party recruiters are welcome to attend the fair, we require they only recruit for their own positions, rather than attending the fair with the intent to staff external positions.
