Campus-Wide Virtual Career Fair

Monday, September 27 & Tuesday, September 28, 2021 (in person at JMU)

Friday, October 1, 2021 (virtual via Handshake online recruiting platform)

All three dates are for students in all majors. We invite employers seeking students for internships as well as full time jobs.

(Note that the virtual Oct. 1st event will still occur even if JMU closes or has modified hours in the case of inclement weather.)

In person dates, Sept. 27th and 28th: The fair will be held on campus in the Festival Ballroom. Feel free to reach out to for more information on scheduling formal interviews following your fair participation.

Virtual date, Oct. 1st: The fair will be held online via Handshake's virtual career fair platform. We will be sharing resources with registered attendees to help you and your team adapt successfully to this platform. We highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the fair platform in advance of the fair to make the most of the fair experience and avoid technical challenges. While the virtual fair sessions facilitates informal 1:1 meeting times with students, JMU does offer virtual interviewing options if you would like to schedule more formal follow up interviews with candidates you met during the fair. Feel free to reach out to for more information on scheduling formal interviews following your fair participation.
