Dually Involved Youth / Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (DIY / CSEC) Project

ICYJ Director Rita Poteyeva, Research Fellow Graciela Perez, and Center Liaison, JJ Messier are partnering with the RFK National Resource Center for Juvenile Justice in Clark County, Nevada to join in the Dually Involved Youth/Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (DIY/CSEC) project.

NRC Executive Director John A. Tuell, NRC Deputy Executive Director Jodi Martin and esteemed researchers from the National Center for Juvenile Justice (the research arm of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court JudgesHunter HurstKristan Russell, and Gene Siegel are partnering with James Madison University and the ICYJ to develop an evaluation design that will support the sustainability, replicatn, and measurement of impact of their efforts focusing on the DIY/CSEC population in Las Vegas.

Their diligent and devoted work will also produce an important blueprint to guide multiple jurisdictions across the United States in similar future evaluation efforts.
