CARS Faculty/Assessment Specialist Role:
As the Associate Director of Assessment Operations in the Center for Assessment and Research Studies, Dr. Pastor oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of large-scale data collection efforts designed to assess student learning and development across the university. In this role, she facilitates the collection of assessment data from students at three key points in their academic journey: when they enter as first-year students, during their mid-career, and as graduating seniors. These efforts provide valuable insights into students’ growth over time and inform university-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching, learning, and the overall student experience.
