The mathematics for middle grades teachers minor is open to students not majoring in mathematics or statistics. Each student must obtain prior approval of all courses to be counted in the minor from the adviser, Dr. Peter D. Kohn, or from the department head.
The minor requires a minimum of 24 credit hours. At least six hours must be earned within the JMU Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
