Finance Career Night: January 26th

Come learn about Finance careers from recent graduations who are in the field of finance: Tuesday, January 26th, 7-8:30 PM, Room 107 ZSH.  Attire: Business casual. 

Resume Night: January 19th

Bring your resume to be reviewed by finance and business law faculty members: Tuesday, January 19th, 7-8:30 PM, Room 107 ZSH. Attire: Casual.

CFA Scholarship Deadline: January 15th

If you are graduating in May 2010, you may apply for the June 2010 CFA Level I scholarship.  Submit your resume and a completed form to Pamela Drake, 335 ZSH. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance and intented career path.  We will notify scholarship recipents by January 17, 2010.  For more information, check out the information at CFA Institute web site.

Student organizations in Finance

Expand your knowledge of finance beyond the classroom.  There are two finance-related organizations available to students at JMU: the Financial Management Association (FMA) and the Madison Investment Fund (MIF).  In Spring 2009, the FMA will meet Tuesday evenings in Room 107 ZSH and the MIF will meet Wednesday evenings in Room 107.  You can pick up and drop off your application to the FMA in Room 332 ZSH.  To participate in MIF, please check out the Spring recruiting drive.
