From its 2013 start with a few visionary women who wanted to engage with JMU, Women for Madison has grown exponentially — from intimate meetings in homes to a full-scale, first-of-its-kind women’s philanthropy group at JMU.

When you’re ready to transform your love for Madison into meaningful action, you can join Women for Madison with a heartfelt scholarship donation of $100 or more — and know you are pitching in with others to help deserving students.
Join the Amethyst Circle
Join the Amethyst Circle and help another cohort of 25 or more students to come to JMU and stay all four years. Join with a gift of $2,500, and together with other members help raise $500,000 by May 31, 2025.
Join the Citrine Circle
The Citrine Circle brings together uplifting alumni from the past five years who keep Madison close and want to give back in meaningful ways. By joining with a recurring $10 gift to Women for Madison, you help create opportunities for Dukes to thrive.
