The James Madison University Board of Visitors met Thursday, June 24 and Friday, June 25 at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia. 

The following is a summary of actions taken by the board and key areas of discussion at the board meeting: 

Approved the April 16, 2021 Board of Visitors meeting minutes and the May 19, 2021 minutes from the Executive Committee meeting; 

Approved the six-year capital plan; 

Approved updates to the faculty handbook; 

Approved curricular changes from Academic Affairs; and 

Received a COVID-19 update from President Jonathan R. Alger.
