We speak your language!
Learning a world language enables you to communicate with members of communities across the globe. Our program is designed to help you become both culturally and interculturally competent, key skills in the global workforce. By reading authentic texts, watching films, discussing issues important to international issues while also developing written and spoken presentational skills, you will become equipped to interact with members of U.S. culture as well as representatives of cultures from across the globe. Developing your skills in a second language will also improve your ability to communicate more effectively in your first language! And our program helps you understand the cultures and literatures of other countries. Cultural competency is one of the most requested qualities in the workforce. In our classes you will learn about and interact with diverse cultures and develop the confidence to speak and advocate for those cultures both on and off campus. See more reasons why our academic programs can help you prepare to be a global citizen improving your understanding of the world.
