More than 500 agency locations in the Commonwealth of Virginia have active CommonHealth programs. Programs cover a variety of health and wellness subjects and are presented in a variety of formats - including onsite programs and video presentations - that make it easy to participate. CommonHealth is turning 30 this year!

To help celebrate 30 years of health, we want to challenge you and your coworkers to complete 30 challenges between now and September 2017.

Whether you are already fit or are a couch potato, a clean eater or a junk food junkie, step up your game to celebrate CommonHealth’s 30th anniversary!  Most challenges are only a week; some are longer. If a time frame is not mentioned, try the challenge for at least 2 weeks.  Save this document, track your progress, and return it to your Agency Coordinator, Tara Roe ( or MSC 7009).

JMU is now CommonHealth Worksite Certified!

On October 29, Virginia Secretary of Administration, Nancy Rodrigues, came to campus to personally present JMU’s certification. State agencies that obtain the worksite certification through CommonHealth showcase their commitment to workplace wellness.
