Thu, 12 Nov 2026 11:30 AM - Fri, 13 Nov 2026 12:45 PM
Who are JMU students, and what experiences, expectations, and habits do they bring to the university? This session provides faculty and staff with a comprehensive look at the students they serve through an exploration of institutional demographic data and student survey results. Participants will gain insight into student backgrounds, motivations, learning habits, technology use, well-being, engagement patterns, and educational goals. By understanding who today's students are and what matters to them, faculty and staff can make more informed decisions that foster student success, belonging, and engagement both inside and outside the classroom. After the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions. The presentation, not including the Q & A, will be recorded and made available on the CFI website.
