The Interdisciplinary Collaboration Faculty Community invites you to join us as we collaborate with writer Dr. Sofia Samatar to engage with her novella The Practice, the Horizon, and the ChainDuring this event, we will explore a range of ideas related to higher education, collaboration and connection, and imagining just futures, using a wide range of disciplinary perspectives.

How do you relate to the themes of this novella? Consider bringing an artifact that connects to your own pedagogy or relationship to higher education as a starting point for conversation. Please also bring questions, discussion prompts, or anything else you'd like to explore with Dr. Samatar and other participants.

We invite faculty from all disciplines and areas across campus to bring their perspectives to this collaborative, community-building conversation about higher education and just futures!
