Faculty have reported that the number of students who read course materials has declined over the last several years. The reasons for the decline are multifaceted, as is how faculty are responding. In this workshop, participants will create a list of obstacles that may prevent students in their classes from reading, share what is working and not working in their classrooms, and develop ideas for how to respond and/or adjust in ways that encourage students to do the readings.
