About the Program 

Our 12-credit hour Educational Technology Graduate Certificate, including our specialized eLearning certificate, will provide you with a strong foundation to enter the field, including advanced skills for designing and developing software, hardware, and processes.  

These certificates are appropriate for those without educational or professional experience in Educational Technology but have an interest in instructional design, learning, and access through the integration of technology and those looking to pursue an M.Ed. with a concentration in Educational Technology in the future.

Program Benefits

  • The program is offered entirely online. 
  • Courses are available for access between 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. on weekdays. 
  • As an online student, you have access to supplemental resources, including a robust online library, digital media archives, software training, and more. 

Admission Requirements 

You meet the following criteria to be considered for admission:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Official transcripts
  • An undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher

Should you not meet these requirements, you may apply as a non-degree-seeking student for up to two courses in the program of study. Acceptance as a non-degree seeking student requires permission from the program director and course instructor. 

If you earn a B or better in your first two courses as a non-degree seeking student, you may then apply to and transfer any applicable credits to our certificate or master’s programs.
