CISE works with industry, faculty, and students to find opportunities to benefit industry and enhance the student experience.  We invite you to get to know us through our Industry Partners Program.

The CISE Industry Partners Program seeks to foster a meaningful and sustained partnership between students, faculty, staff, and industry leaders who share a common purpose of improving our world through the cultivation of integrated science, technology, and engineering.

Our Partners are the most engaged and visible companies within CISE. IPP investments underscore your commitment to the education of next-generation technical professionals at James Madison University. This high-level presence creates brand awareness of your organization on campus, but also recognition of your corporate values, a critical feature in job selection by today’s students.

CISE faculty currently collaborate with a wide range of private-sector partners, ranging from larger companies like Verizon and MITRE to smaller, local businesses such as Vine and Fig and Trout Unlimited. Most of these collaborations focus on student involvement in addressing the challenges that these companies face.  Our students benefit by being able to put their knowledge and skills to work on a real-world challenge, and our partners benefit from our students’ strong academic preparation and their willingness to think creatively yet pragmatically.

Funds generated through the program support student professional development and allow us to offer your company a personalized connection to talented future employees.
