| The following is a description of a typical schedule for an invited seminar speaker to the JMU Chemistry & Biochemistry Department. This is flexible, and is scheduled according to the speaker's preference and prior travel arrangements. | |
| 9:00 am - 12:15 pm | Meet with JMU Chemistry faculty |
| 12:20 pm - 1:30 pm | Lunch with JMU Chemistry students |
| 1:30 - 2:30 pm | Tour departmental facilities |
| 2:45 - 3:30 pm | Informal drop in time to meet with JMU students to talk about chemistry careers, grad school, etc. |
| 3:30 - 3:50 pm | Seminar prep time |
| 3:50 - 4:50 pm | Departmental Seminar |
| 5:00 - 6:30 pm | Dinner with faculty |
