Research Description

I am interested in developing and evaluating assessments to characterize student ability to engage in scientific and engineering practices, particularly in laboratory contexts. Additionally, I am interested in developing and implementing training and support programs for our undergraduate learning assistants to enhance student learning. These LAs are a crucial portion of our transformed General Chemistry laboratory courses, which require students to engage more deeply with various scientific practices throughout each semester.
