Professional Headshots for All JMU Students!
While the UCC previously offered headshots only once a week, JMU students can now access free, studio-quality professional headshots every weekday through the new Iris Photo Booth!
The Iris Booth is available by appointment through Handshake. Students should check in by swiping their JACard at the front desk before their appointment. The booth is fully self-service and takes just a few minutes to use. Simply arrive for your appointment, tap the screen, follow the prompts, and your photos will be delivered directly to your JMU email.
Please note: The Iris Booth may be unavailable during certain periods when it is being used at UCC career fairs and events. Students should check Handshake for the most up-to-date appointment availability.

Your headshot is yours to use however you'd like:
- LinkedIn and professional networking profiles
- Video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet)
- Internal directories and faculty/staff profiles
- Email signatures

The booth includes wheelchair-accessible space, adjustable seating, camera positioning, and a guided touchscreen interface. Staff assistance is available upon request.
