I help students navigate making their dreams a reality. I encourage and empower my students to find paths as unique as they are to get to where they way to be and write their story.
My Career Journey
I started my higher education journey at the University of Central Missouri, where I received a BS in Psychology. I started working the Career Center as a first year student, and later became a member of both Sigma Kappa and Phi Sigma Pi. By diving into my experiences there I found the field of student affairs and discovered I love working with college students. I ended up attending Texas A&M University where I received my Masters of Science in Educational Administration, focused on Student Affairs and Administration in Higher Education.
While there I was Graduate Hall Director, wrote the Strategic Plan for the Veterans Resource and Support Center there to cover 5 years of growth and development. Once I completed my degree I made my way to JMU where I became a Career Advisor and am now the Assistant Director for Internships! I've loved getting to know JMU and am always looking forward to getting to know more of you and connecting you with the employers of your dreams.
