Check-in is from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Event programming runs between 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with most academic programming offered between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
If you are unexpectedly delayed, late check-in will be available in both locations until 12:30 p.m.

A printed program for the day will be available at check-in. See detailed check-in directions and parking information.

We offer early check-in for the Academic Open House on Friday, November 7th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Learn how to set up your high school junior and senior years for success when preparing for college and the financial aid process. Hear from Office of Financial Aid staff about how to complete the FAFSA, setup your FSA ID, and important dates and deadlines to keep in mind. We’ll discuss different types of aid as well as the typical timeline for students once admitted to JMU.

This session is best suited for high school juniors and seniors. We will be unable to answer personal financial questions in this session.

Mineral Museum Tour

The JMU Mineral Museum is an internationally recognized destination with minerals from 39 countries and 24 U.S. states. It offers something for those with any level of geological education, from casual viewers to those with extensive backgrounds in mineralogy.
