Workshop Description: Imagine it is a Monday and the beautiful spring weather over the weekend is calling you to battle – are you ready to combat those winter postponed projects?  You have the potential to be a Weekend Warrior!  Let’s get you ready!  A postponed, winter to-do list and weekend projects can leave your body “mourning on Monday” if you are not properly prepared to engage in the activity. This workshop will focus and engage you in activities that you can incorporate into your daily routine at work.  Weekend Warriors will help you with balance, strength, and flexibility.  Our session will enhance your outlook and readiness on your projects and allow for a more productive post-warrior work week and beyond.  This workshop promises to be fun, interactive, and will give you the action plan(s) you need to be a true Weekend Warrior!

In this workshop participants will:

  • Engage in discussion on why weekday activity is important for weekend projects and for returning to work after
  • Participate in basic fitness & wellness activities that involve work environment exercise, stretching, and balance
  • Develop a personal commitment plan that involves daily work habits/tasks/duties
  • Explore a TOP TEN WORK DAY CHALLENGE sheet and demonstrate activities customized by level to each participant
