UREC Program Registration 

UREC offers two methods for registering for programs - in-person at UREC and online! 

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

Register for any UREC program at the UREC Program Registration Desk (located next to the Welcome Center).

In-person registration is required for any fee-based programs (excluding Intramural Sports). Fees must be paid using a FLEX account. Refunds for fee based programs are only approved if your spot can be filled by another participant. Please make individual request for refunds to the appropriate program coordinator. There is a DART machine located in the UREC lobby that participants can utilize to deposit money into their FLEX account. This DART machine also provides DART cards. Visitors and participants can purchase the cards out of the DART machine for one dollar ($0.75 for the card and $0.25 credit put on the card). They can then put money on them to use for FLEX charges. ONLINE REGISTRATION

Register online using the IMLeagues program for Intramural Sports

Register online using the xPiron program for educational programs (this includes Group Fitness classes). Only classes/programs with no additional fee are available for registration through this site.

    • Set Up an Account: Follow the instructions located on the registration web site (the "Member ID" is your JAC number). You will be asked to register as a user and create a password the first time you log into the program. It takes less than a minute and you will never have to do it again! Please use only numbers and letters in your password. Do not use any symbols, punctuation or blank spaces. When you are successfully registered for a class, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have registered for a class that has put you on the wait list, you will be notified via email if a spot opens up and you become registered.

    • Cancellations and No-Shows: If you have changed your mind about attending a class that you are registered for, you will need to cancel your class registration. The opportunity to cancel your registration for educational programs usually ends 24 hours prior to the class start time (or 15 minutes prior for Group Fitness).  If you do not cancel and do not show up for a class, you are considered a "no-show participant." Group Fitness doors will be locked at class start time. If you are not present at that time, you will be counted as a no-show, so please arrive to class at least 15 minutes early. f you no-show three times in one semester, you will lose your online registration privileges for the remainder of that semester. At that point you will only be able to register during walk-in registration at the Program Registration desk (45-15 minutes prior to class time for Group Fitness only).

    • Additional Policies: Participants can only register for 2 different types of group fitness classes a day. For example, 9:00 am Boxing Fitness AND 4:15 pm Body Sculpt, but not a 9:00 am Boxing Fitness and 12:15 pm Boxing Fitness. When you arrive to your class, make sure to sign in. When checking in, you may be asked to know your JAC ID#. Please be prepared with this information if it is needed. If the network were to go down beyond UREC's control, please be aware that we will have no access to the class roster. Please check the UREC front doors for postings regarding this matter and check-in with the Program Registration Desk.
