*Applicants who have significant work experience in an educational setting may apply for a GRE Waiver of the GRE requirement for admission to the program. In these cases, applicants must prove they are licensed practicing teachers and/or they have 5 years or more experience teaching Spanish in an organizational setting.
Official GRE scores
Transcriptsof all previous academic work at the undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) level.
Applicants must upload unofficial copies of their transcripts and if admitted, all transcripts will be verified by the Graduate School. Applicants who previously attended James Madison University still need to upload an unofficial transcript, but do not need to provide official transcripts for verification.

Two-to-three page essay explaining why you are pursuing a Dual Master's Degree in Spanish Language and Culture for Educators.
Two letters of recommendation
An officially accredited report of B2 Spanish level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) or Spanish as a native language ora Bachelor's degree in Spanish
All of the above listed requirements can/should be uploaded within the online application, and test scores, if required, should be sent electronically to the Graduate School from the Educational Testing Service.
