DiversityWeb - creating a better, more diverse JMU

Welcome to our Web site. DiversityWeb is the creation of the Special Assistant for the JMU Diversity Initiative, which began in the fall of 2003. The Initiative has focused on two primary areas of development: the recruitment and retention of qualified diverse students, and the diversification of faculty and staff.

To accomplish these goals, the Special Assistant oversees or partners with departments and programs to foster important dynamics and dialogues on campus.
