Scholarship Overview

General expendable. Established with a grant from the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation Inc. to award scholarships to nursing majors from nine southern states (VA, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA). Recipients shall be Christian girls, financially needy and deserving students. Recipients shall be chosen by the Financial Aid office in conjunction with the Nursing department head. The Whitehead Foundation requires an annual report showing the activity in the fund.
