Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Margaret Spitzer in honor of the Spitzer Family. This scholarship is intended to benefit a JMU student who meets the following criteria: This recipient should be a student from Rockingham or Fairfax County VA, who enters the Department of Health Sciences, with preferences for students in the academic programs of Dietetics or Nutrition. The intent is for the same student to have this scholarship throughout his/her JMU enrollment. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements or when the student graduates, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the University Scholarship Committee upon recommendation of the Department of Health Sciences.
