Tuition is $775 per credit hour and the rate remains fixed for the duration of the cohort. The tuition is subject to change for the new cohort.

Our program is cohort-based. Students who fall behind in their cohort will be moved to the following cohort and are required to satisfy the new cohort requirements, including tuition.

As a graduate student, you're eligible to apply for federal student loans using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Additionally, there may be other forms of assistance that do not require the FAFSA. Please visit our financial aid website to learn more about your options.

You can also reach out to the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships via email fin_aid@jmu.edu or phone at 540-568-7820.

Students are personally responsible for paying tuition for the courses they have registered, after the Add/Drop deadline. Students in the InfoSec program are allowed to pay tuition for courses at the end of each semester. Students who receive tuition reimbursement, from employers, benefit from this unique billing option, as they don’t need to pay at the beginning of the semester to be reimbursed at the end of the semester, months later!

There are a number of scholarships available through different agencies. Our program director works with students to identify these opportunities and helps students through the application process.
