CSP employs Graduate Assistants (GA) to assist in the daily operations of the program. As a Graduate Assistant Mentor, you will act as a role model and leader to all undergraduate Centennials, and represent CSP at all times. The primary role of the GA Mentor is to mentor a small cohort of 9 to 15 diverse undergraduate students.

To succeed in this GA position, the following skills are required:

  • Leadership: You are a leader in CSP. It is essential that you be able to effectively solve problems, stay organized, and remain positive as a role-model for others in the program.
  • Communication: You must be able to convey information and ideas as clearly as possible, both verbally and nonverbally.
  • Collaboration: As a GA in CSP, you are part of a team. It is necessary for you to be able to work productively and cooperatively with others in the program, including other graduate assistants, students and professional staff.
