Our application became available on Thursday, October 05, 2023 for prospective students interested in applying to the Centennial Scholars Program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Applications are due no later than 11:59PM on February 01, 2024. 

While we encourage applicants to submit their 2024-2025 FAFSA by the application deadline, we understand the complications associated with the new FAFSA format. Therefore, we will also consider applicants who have not yet submitted their FAFSA. Please submit your scholarship application by no later than 11:59PM on February 01, 2024 and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. 

We hope to notify applicants by the end of February if they have been selected for an interview. However, our selection process has been delayed due to complications associated with the 2024-2025 FAFSA. 

Applicants will be notified via the email address listed on their application for admission to JMU. Please continue to check your junk or spam folders in the coming months for emails from centscholarsselect@jmu.edu.

We hope to notify incoming first-year and transfer students by the middle of April and current students by the end of May. However, our selection process has been delayed due to complications associated with the 2024-2025 FAFSA. 

Students accepted to the program should select the "All Access" meal plan. Students who choose a more expensive meal plan (such as the "All Access Plus") will be responsible for paying the difference.

Incoming transfer students can receive up to four semesters of aid through the Centennial Scholars Program.

Incoming transfer students must have completed a 2-year degree with at least 60 credit hours to apply to CSP.
