I’m originally from Botetourt County but have called the beautiful Shenandoah Valley home since moving here to attend Bridgewater College, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. With 15 years of teaching experience, I’ve also had the pleasure of coaching various sports at Spotswood High School. I currently teach Health and Physical Education to 9th graders, as well as Adapted PE for students in the multiple abilities class.

I’m married to Wes, and together we have two wonderful children and a spunky orange tabby cat. Staying active with my family is something I truly enjoy, and you can often find me outdoors in my free time. A true adventurer at heart, I’m passionate about discovering new places and cultures. My goal is to help my students build confidence, recognize their value, and embrace their unique gifts.
