Contact Info

As the University Career Center's Communications Coordinator, I'm always trying to spread the word about the amazing services that UCC provides to help students succeed. My team of students and I work diligently to provide JMU with timely and engaging career content, free professional headshots, and more.

My Career Journey

Originally from Richmond, VA, I came to JMU for undergrad and never left! After graduating in 2019 with a degree in Media Arts and Design, I worked in the nonprofit world for 3 years at the Harrisonburg SPCA. There, I marketed the organization to encourage the public to support adoption, become educated on animal welfare, and engage with events and fundraising opportunities.

After taking home two cats, I decided to switch gears. I came back to JMU to work in higher education marketing after accepting a position at the University Career Center in 2022. I've been loving it ever since! I really appreciate having a job with a strong sense of purpose, from helping animals find homes to now helping students find their future.
