The University Compliance Committee (UCC) is a multidisciplinary committee that is formed by committed compliance partners from each division on campus. The committee representatives are appointed by their vice president. The UCC is co-chaired by the Compliance Coordinator and the Chief Audit Executive. The UCC, through the Compliance Coordinator, reports to the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee of the Board of Visitors annually.

The UCC assists the Compliance Coordinator in identifying compliance risks, assessing and prioritizing risks, managing and mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of compliance and ethics at the university. UCC representatives are encouraged to form sub-committees within their divisions to assist with risk identification and assessment of compliance topics. The UCC meets six to eight times per year.
