Laura Yu Hickerson is the Associate Director for Employer Relations in the University Career Center at JMU. In this role, Laura oversees all employer-related functions, including career fairs, on-campus & virtual interviewing, as well as events involving our employer partners. She conducts outreach to new employers as well as strives to maintain our current employer relationships. Laura has worked at JMU in the University Career Center since 2005 where she has held roles as an academic advisor, career advisor, and internship coordinator. Laura enjoys working with students and assisting them on their career journeys as well as working with employers that want to hire our students.
