Mr. Ronald C. Devine of Burke, a 1978 graduate of JMU is president of A&R Foods, Inc. which owns and operates Burger Kings and other restaurants. He is also an owner/partner in Springfield Company, a real estate and commercial property commercial lending business. Term: 2006-2010.
Ms. Vanessa M. Evans of Charlottesville is the associate director of the Ron Brown Scholar Program. Ms. Evans currently serves on the Board of the National Scholarship Providers Association and serves as President of JMU's Black Alumni Association. Mr. Stephen R. Leeolou of Charlotte, N. C. is the president and CEO of Southstar Capital, LLC. He is a 1978 graduate of JMU. The Leeolou Alumni Center at JMU is named for Leeolou and his wife Dee Dee Collins Leeolou. Term: 2006-2010.
Mrs. Elizabeth V. Lodal of McLean serves as a Virginia Commissioner on the Education Commission of the States. She is a former principal of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and McLean High School. Mrs. Lodal holds a B.A. in History from Rice University and a M.A. in Secondary School Administration from The George Washington University. Term: 2008-2011.
