Last day to withdraw from 4W1 session class.

Memorial Day - JMU closed.
Classes do not meet.
UG fall 2013 open enrollment closes at 11:59 p.m.

June 3, 2013
Last day to withdraw from a G61 session class.

June 7, 2013
4W1 session ends.

June 10, 2013
4W2, U6W and G8W sessions begin.
Last day to withdraw from a U8W session class.

June 12, 2013
Last day to add/drop a 4W2 session class.

June 13, 2013
Last day to add/drop a U6W session class.

June 14, 2013
Last day to add/drop a G8W session class.

June 17, 2013
Last day to withdraw from a U10 session class.

Transcripts

All Clearinghouse systems and services will be unavailable from midnight, ET, on Friday, April 5, through midnight, ET, on Sunday, April 7, so they can perform a system upgrade. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Note to Current Students:
To ensure the release of a complete official transcript, please verify on your unofficial transcript that your degree conferral and/or semester grades have been posted before ordering.

Please know that James Madison University only releases official transcripts.
Transcripts are processed free of charge.
All transcripts are processed within five business days of the receipt of the order.
Only approved attachments will be sent with transcripts.  If your attachment is not required for transcript processing, the attachment will not be sent.
  • Current Students:
    You may request your transcript through MyMadison:
    (This applies to current students and Alumni from fall 2005 onward.  You may need to reset your password at https://accounts.jmu.edu/login/, if forgotten.)
  1. Select Req Official Transcript in the Other Academic drop down on the student center.
  2. You will be directed to the National Student Clearinghouse.
  3. Select Order or track a transcript.

Electronic Transcripts:

Students, who have attended JMU since Fall 1995, may request a transcript be sent electronically.  Before ordering your transcript, contact the recipient to determine if they will accept an electronic transcript in their email.
If you attended JMU prior to Fall 1995, your student record is in a format that is not compatible with electronic delivery. Please provide a mailing address for delivery.

Expedited Transcript Shipping Option: 

To reduce transcript shipping time, your only option is to privately purchase a UPS Label by visiting www.ups.com.  The UPS Label can be submitted along with our transcript request form by uploading the label as an attachment.

*Be advised:  Pursuing this option does NOT reduce transcript request processing time.  All transcripts are processed within five business days.

Please contact UPS directly if you have questions about filling out your label or payment options.

Apostille Seal

If you need to obtain the Apostille Seal, please complete the online request form via NSC.  You will need to upload a document on the second page of the online request form, asking the transcript be prepared for the Apostille Seal.  The Office of the Registrar will take the necessary steps to prepare the transcript and return it to you for your Apostille Seal application.
