Participants will study pedagogy, musical materials, choral conducting and musicianship/solfege. The workshop will begin Sunday evening, July 14. The class will meet 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for two weeks and conclude Saturday, July 27 at noon. The JMU course is endorsed by the Organization of American Kodály Educators. This workshop is being held in conjunction with the VocalArts Choir Camp (grades 4-12), July 21-27. Workshop participants will observe rehearsals and musicianship classes.
