On Wednesday, 5/21/25, the Counseling Center will be closed between 8 am and 11:30 am.
Walk-in first visit appointments will resume 11:30am-2pm and in-person crisis services will be available 11:30am-4:30pm.
Even when walk-in hours are closed, 24/7 crisis service options are available to JMU students experiencing a mental health emergency (e.g., thoughts or plans to kill yourself, thoughts of seriously harming others, recent sexual assault).
If this is not a mental health emergency, additionally free on-demand and scheduled telehealth mental health support services with TimelyCare are available to JMU students, even over breaks.
