This certificate program is a collaborative effort between the College of Business and the College of Integrated Science and Technology, and such a cross-disciplinary approach between business and the sciences is key to addressing sustainability. The program offers scientists and future business leaders the opportunity to work together to better understand sustainability, with the ultimate goal of integrating sustainability into all facets of life.

Students will use interactive computer-based simulations to role-play as business leaders, making decisions that will create sustainable resources within existing business models and experimenting with ways to increase sustainability while yielding profits. Course work in science and technology will focus on design issues, regulations and policies that affect sustainable business models.
