Dr. David Owusu-Ansah is Professor of History where he specializes in African history and Islam in Africa. As the Special Assistant to the President for Faculty in the Office of Access and Inclusion, he provides support and assistance to faculty through the Preparing Future Faculty program. This program provides a pathway for postdoctoral ABD students to experience working as a faculty member while they complete their dissertation. In addition, Dr. Owusu-Ansah oversees the Professor in Residence, Middle School Visit Program, Middle School Leadership Academy, and the Ghana Summer Program. He is also active with the Africana Studies minor program.
