Dr. Talé Mitchell is an Assistant Professor of Creative Advertising in the School of Media Arts and Design. She teaches advertising campaigns, the capstone course in the curriculum and visual communication design, a core course. Her research interest focuses on media influence. More specifically, her scholarship agenda is how the media influences us through marketing, advertising, race, skin complexion and body image. In addition, her interest includes consumer behavior and strategy as it relates to advertising and social influence, and branded product placement as it relates to persuasion, effectiveness, and emotions.
