Dr. Jessica Davidson is Associate Professor of History at JMU. She has taught at JMU since 2004. She teaches courses in European, World, and Women's history. She also devotes her time to the WGS minor where she regularly teaches Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies. Her research focuses on the Franco dictatorship in Spain. Currently she is preparing for publication a study of children, gender, and historical memory in recent Spanish film about the regime. She leads a study abroad program in Barcelona, Spain for JMU Honors students.
