Biographical info:
Jeremy Rosselot-Merritt is a professor of Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. With 15 years of industry experience as a technical writer across various sectors, including metallurgical processing, engineering services and software, Rosselot-Merritt brings both academic and practical expertise to his teaching and research.
His research focuses on workplace communication dynamics, professional identity and technical communication pedagogy. He has published in leading journals, including Technical Communication, Business and Professional Communication Quarterly, and Technical Communication Quarterly. His work on mentoring received the Outstanding Article Award from the Association for Business Communication in 2020.
He holds a doctorate in Rhetoric and Scientific and Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
