JMU News is considered the official source of news and information for JMU employees. The purpose of this e-newsletter, which stems directly from the overarching goals of the Reengineering Madison initiative, is to keep faculty and staff informed of JMU-focused news, important announcements and campus-related information.
One section of the newsletter titled, “Campus Notices,” will consolidate many previously sent individual emails. This is a very important section for all JMU employees to read.
Bulk email will no longer be used and will transition primarily into the Campus Notices section of JMU News. One primary goal for JMU News is to reduce the volume of emails faculty and staff receive and consolidating the information into this bi-weekly e-newsletter digest.
A fillable form will soon be shared to submit these ideas or ask questions, but in the meantime, please email jmunews@jmu.edu with submission requests.
Because this is the official source of information for all employees, there is no option for faculty and staff to opt out of this e-newsletter.
