JMU News is considered the official source of news and information for JMU employees. The purpose of this e-newsletter, which stems directly from the overarching goals of the Reengineering Madison initiative, is to keep faculty and staff informed of JMU-focused news, important announcements and campus-related information.
A section titled, “Campus Notices,” will consolidate many previously sent individual emails. This is a very important section for all JMU employees to read.
Bulk email will no longer be used and will transition primarily into the Campus Notices section of JMU News. One primary goal for JMU News is to reduce the volume of emails faculty and staff receive and present the information in this bi-weekly e-newsletter digest.
